This week proved to be an exceptional one for pupils across various disciplines at TPS. Many pupils were recognised and celebrated for their outstanding achievements.

The prestigious weekly awards of “Learner of the Week,” “Citizen of the Week,” “Sportsperson of the Week,” “Musician of the Week,” “Dancer of the Week,” and “Actor of the Week” were awarded to deserving pupils, each excelling in their respective domains.

The ‘Learner of the Week’ awards shone a spotlight on individuals who exhibited great knowledge, demonstrating exceptional academic prowess and an unyielding commitment to learning. These pupils not only excelled in their studies but also showcased an eagerness to explore and delve deeper into various subjects.

Recognising the essence of good citizenship, the ‘Citizen of the Week’ title was awarded to those pupils who exhibited exemplary qualities of leadership, compassion, and community involvement. Their initiatives and actions have had a profound and positive impact on the school community.

On the sports front, the ‘Sportsperson of the Week’ award honoured those who exhibited outstanding sportsmanship, athletic skill, and dedication in their chosen sporting endeavours, setting a high standard for their peers to follow.

The ‘Musician of the Week’ and ‘Dancer of the Week’ titles celebrated the rhythmic and melodious talents of students who impressed audiences with their musical prowess and dance finesse, showcasing creativity and dedication in their performances.

Lastly, the ‘Actor of the Week’ award recognised thespian talents at the recent Taunton Drama festival, celebrating pupils who dazzled audiences with their exceptional acting abilities, captivating performances, and dedication to the dramatic arts.
