Taunton School drama students from both the Prep and Senior schools presented a group acting competition in the style of Strictly Come Dancing.

Strictly Studio saw five short, student-led and directed performances go head to head to be crowned the winner of the overall competition, which was judged by Old Tauntonian and actor Ed Bluemel. Ed is known for his part of Marcus Whitmore in Sky One’s adaptation of ‘A Discovery of Witches’, and has also featured in The Halcyon, The Commuter, Sex Education and Killing Eve.

The evening saw the audience enjoy an array of different performances from all the students. A student-written piece by a group of sixth formers, based on ‘The Play That Goes Wrong’ took the win and were presented with the strictly trophy.
