During half term, a group of 24 students studying Spanish ranging from Year 9 to Year 13 embarked on an enriching journey to the enchanting cities of Málaga and Granada. In Málaga, they delved into the heart of the city, immersing themselves in its rich history and the art scene. A guided tour led them through the Picasso museum where they tried a lot of traditional Spanish cuisine whilst partaking in group challenges that took them on an adventure across the city.

They spoke the language with locals in the market and they enjoyed a day at the beach where they played football, sunbathed, read Spanish books and even saw dolphins! They also had a guided tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Alhambra and enjoyed a day in Granada with good food and treasure hunts through the historical part of the city. It was a fantastic trip and both students and staff enjoyed their time in Spain. It was an exceptional opportunity to truly immerse themselves in the Spanish language and culture, making it an unforgettable experience for all!
