Year 8 have been making the most of the beautiful September weather and headed out to the Green Heart for some reading. Taking advantage of the space, they ventured outside for their English lessons, immersing themselves in the captivating world of literature. Pupils enjoyed using the outdoor space and bean bags as they delved into their class text, ‘Private Peaceful’ by the renowned author Michael Morpurgo. This poignant and thought-provoking novel provided the perfect backdrop for their outdoor reading and discussion session. The setting not only offered a change of scenery but also provided a refreshing and stimulating environment for the pupils to explore literature.
