Our student-led Eco Council is working hard to minimise our environmental impact.

This video developed by the group offers a glimpse into the current initiatives that the school has adopted, which include developing a net zero strategy, upgrading to LED lighting, repurposing waste, and using eco-friendly equipment. We’re also sourcing local food, eliminating landfill waste, and reducing plastic and chemical use.

Looking ahead, the council plans to expand their efforts, such as planting wildflowers, collecting beach waste, and engaging the wider school community. The Eco Council’s dedication to sustainability is inspiring and impactful.

By taking an engaged and proactive approach, we can all collectively work to reduce our environmental footprint and foster a culture of sustainability within the school.
