Libby J (Year 12) Tom A (Year 9) and Jake F (Year 9) travelled to Sheffield on October 3rd to participate in the National County Team Championships on October 4th.

Tom was selected to represent Cambridgeshire due to racing in their County Championships in February 2026. Libby and Jake represented Somerset, who finished in 11th position (out of the 38 counties participating).

Other counties in the South West achieved finishing positions were: Devon 19th, Dorset 26th, Gloucestershire 27th, Wiltshire 37th, Cornwall 38th

Taunton School Director of Swimming and Somerset Team Head Coach, Rachel Aldington, supported the students as they enjoyed being part of the most colourful and noisy competition in the swimming calendar.
