On Wednesday 23rd September 2026 our U18’s Football 1st XI took on King’s College U18’s 1st XI in the inaugural Barney Webber Cup, hosted at Taunton Town Football Club.

It was a fantastic evening of football with strong support from both schools creating an excellent atmosphere around the pitch. The match was played in a competitive and sporting spirit showcasing the quality of footballing talent we have within our local community. After a well played and closely contested match our Under-18s came out on top to lift the inaugural ‘Barney Webber Cup’. It was a terrific achievement and a fitting reward for the team’s hard work and commitment over the first few weeks of the new academic year.

A huge thank you to Taunton Town Football Club for hosting the event and helping to provide such a memorable evening of local football. We look forward to building upon this fantastic event and continuing to celebrate the outstanding footballing talent in our local area.
