The paintballing trip served as an action-packed entertaining get-away in the woods for us. We went to Velocity paintball near Bristol in a group including TSI and TS students which gave us an opportunity to get to know students in other parts of the school. We were split into 2 teams (orange and white) and participated in multiple games on different maps with fun scenarios. Our first game involved a ‘Capture the Flag’ game in and around a castle, we then moved to ‘The Crypt’ where we had to explore a pyramid and find hidden artefacts, move them back to our home base and prevent the other team from stealing them. We ended the day with a fast-paced ‘speed -ball’ game. It was very fun and quite a workout for us as we ran around with guns and suits on, over muddy terrain. As fun as it was shooting each other, the most amusing part was getting to shoot our teachers who were playing with us. At the end Charlie was awarded a ‘sharp shooter’ award, the orange team won but everyone had a very good time running around and blasting each other with paintballs.
