Daniel competed in the National Sailing Championships for RS100 single-handed racers at Royal Torbay Yacht Club and was placed 1st in the Youth U18s category. As well as placing first Daniel was challenged by the fierce conditions, battling strong, windy seas which increased the difficulty of the competition. This was even a challenge for the experienced adult sailors in Sunday’s races making Daniel’s triumph all the more remarkable. His accomplishment is truly something to be celebrated and commended.
