On Sunday 15th October, a group of intrepid students from Taunton School International went to Exeter, where they eagerly accepted the challenge presented by ‘Locked in a Room.’

The premise was that Professor Samuel Pottenger had been kidnapped, leaving his research unguarded. They had to solve a series of puzzles in under an hour to recover it before it fell into the wrong hands. The two groups competed against each other to be the first to solve the puzzle and get out of the locked room.  Both teams did brilliantly, escaping with about ten minutes to spare. They then had time to grab some lunch and admire the beautiful gothic cathedral before returning to Taunton.
