On Saturday 2nd May the ‘Year 13 BTEC Business class’ hosted 76 guests at their BTEC Charity Quiz, which comprised of a team quiz, raffle, and auction. The students worked exceptionally hard throughout the first half of the spring term to obtain donations for the charity auction, prepare a fun and challenging quiz and create an enjoyable atmosphere for all guests. The students’ hard work paid off, and they raised a total of £1,159.43 for St. Margaret’s Hospice, Taunton.

The Business department are incredibly proud of the Year 13 BTEC Business class who showed excellent commitment and character in the planning and running of the evening. As a class, we would like to say an extra special thank you to all the guests that came along to support the event. A special mention to Mr Bull for making a special guest appearance hosting an entertaining charity auction!

Your support has helped us to be able to make this donation to the Hospice and create a noble legacy for the BTEC Business class of 2026. The Year 13 class will be visiting St. Margaret’s Hospice next half term to deliver the donation. Once again, well done Year 13, and thank you to all who supported us!
