Students Take Part in ‘Futures in the Performing Arts’ Workshop
Taunton School was buzzing with creativity at our ‘Futures in the Performing Arts’ event earlier this term which saw Drama, Dance, and Music come together to explore different creative arts career pathways and options.
Over 50 students from Years 9-13 took part in hands‑on workshops, talks and Q&As with industry professionals including Somerstage Musical Theatre School, Rhiannon Llewellyn, Access to Music, Trinity Davey, and more, exploring pathways in performance, production and the wider creative industries. From musical theatre and dance workshops to freelancing, financial planning and university routes, students gained valuable insight into turning creativity into a career.
A huge thank you to our speakers and Futures department for making the day such a success.
