Students Break a Leg in First Pathway Programme Production, Brontë
Our very first Pathway Programme production went off without a hitch last week!
Brontë, inspired by Polly Teale’s 2005 play, was a biographical account of the lives of the Brontë family and the key moments that shaped each member. The style of the play follows closely the work of Mike Alfreds, the founder of the company Shared Experience which is known for its groundbreaking treatment of classical narratives.
The Taunton School Pathway is a programme designed to allow students the opportunity to undergo a full audition process and rehearse and carry out a production in the same way a working theatre professional would – perfect for students hoping to go in to a career in the theatre industry.
Congratulations to everyone involved in making this a huge success! We can’t wait for the next one.
