Prospective English Channel Swimmers Complete Longest Ever Training Swim
Last Saturday our prospective Channel Relay squad completed their longest swim yet at Clevedon Marine Lake!
When coaching children for something as difficult as an English Channel relay, its important to remember they are just children. Here, every lap of the lake was celebrated with a jump off the raft to keep things fun.
In July, the team will jump of a ferry to start The Chestnut Appeal’s Plymouth Breakwater 4km swim, a big milestone before they jump into The English Channel in August. Confidence is built not born, so we will keep encouraging the team to push their limits and show them that anything is possible.
