Students Compete in the Prestigious Bath Cup Swimming Competition

Taunton School took two teams to The Bath Cup (Swimming National Competition) at the London Aquatic Centre on Friday 1^st March.

The Girls team consisted of Izzy Blackhurst, Frankie Hanson, Libby Jones and Eva-Bibba Wilbourn and the Boys, Szymon Wyrozumski, Ronan Hill, Oscar Chin and Logan DuPont. Both Teams swam in the Freestyle and Medley relays.

The girls finished 3^rd overall in the Freestyle Relay and fourth by 0.6 seconds in the Medley Relay. The boys finished 13^th in the Freestyle Relay and 6^th in the Medley Relay (having gone into the final in 9^th position). It was a fun and hugely competitive event and has set the Swimmers in good stead for the Swimming Season next term!
