As part of Futures Week, students took part in a Global Projects competition.

The group of three outlined how the South West of England could be used to farm seaweed to create a South Western hub for packaging made from seaweed as an alternative to plastic.

The second group outlined how solar powered hot air balloons over dairy farms in the South West could be used to capture methane. The methane could then be taken up by mushroom (farmed in old abandoned barns)!

Thank you to all the staff that supported the Year 12 and Year 9 students.
