Year 12 Students Gain National Recognition in Cambridge Economics Challenge
Thirteen Year 12 students entered the national Cambridge Economics Challenge this year – the first year it has run. They faced a 75-minute exam consisting of 50 degree-level and technical questions.
Seven of our students received national awards for their performance in the Challenge. Four received the Mint Award (the fourth highest award); two the Crown Award (the third highest award), placing them in the top third of entrants; and one – Nathan A – the Rose Ryal Award (the top award), presented to only 14 of more than 1,900 entrants.
Nathan has been invited to a four-day residential camp at St. Catharine’s College and the Economics Faculty at the University of Cambridge in September, in recognition of his outstanding achievement.
Our other winners:
- Amarra B – Crown Award
- Alex H – Crown Award
- Alice B – Mint Award
- Heryck G – Mint Award
