Eleven solo performers gave a stunning recital of concerto movements and other large-scale solo pieces, all accompanied by full orchestra, in the Chapel on 25th June.

Preparing and playing these significant repertoire pieces is a huge achievement, and these performances were elevated with the support of an expert orchestra of music staff, visiting music teachers, OTs and other visiting professionals.

The final rehearsals and concert took place on one of the hottest days the School has ever seen, and huge credit is due to all involved for managing everything in the very challenging conditions. The performances would certainly have graced many a concert hall stage, and the audience was delighted by repertoire choices including Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Saint-Saens, Grieg and Puccini.
