Over 80 Performing Arts students came together on Monday 22nd for a black tie Oscars-style ceremony to celebrate all that has been achieved in the Arts this academic year.

Drama, Dance, Music and Debating students dressed in their finery and there was much excitement on the red carpet (which was slightly soggy after the torrential rain shower!) as students reminisced about the plays, debates, concerts and dance shows that they had been in throughout the year.

Once they had enjoyed a delicious bbq, they headed into the theatre to see who had won the awards. With entertainment interspersed throughout the awards ceremony, including a dance piece to ‘All That Jazz,’ an extract from Pinter’s ‘The Dumb Waiter’ and a beautiful rendition of ‘What I Did For Love’ from the musical ‘A Chorus Line,’ it was a wonderful night of celebration.
