The end of the academic year has seen us say goodbye to one of our most loved members of staff, Mark ‘Chatts’ Chatterton.

Chatts has been a teacher at Taunton School for more than 30 years, joining the history department in 1990 and quickly becoming Head of History and Head of Oxbridge, a role which saw Chatts assist students with their Oxford and Cambridge applications. He also gave his time to coaching rugby and was Head of Athletics for nine years, and has also been a tutor in School House and Fairwater.

We have absolutely loved Chatts being such a huge part of the Taunton School community for so many years. Wishing you a long, happy and restful retirement Chatts, you will be dearly missed!

Read what Chatts had to say about his time at Taunton School in the next issue of the OT Review which will go live on our website in the autumn term.
