Taunton School students have recently been competing in the Somerset County Swimming Championships across three weekends throughout January and February.

Holly B, Faye B, Henry C, Toby C, Jake F, Ben F, James F, Josie H, Lewis H, Sami H, Liberty J, Oliver M, Rebecca N, Rhys P, Ben S, Emilia S, Rosie S, George W, Cameron W and Isabella W all qualified to race in a variety of events. The students represented a range of clubs across Somerset (AST Burnham, Cheddar, Street, Taunton Deane and Yeovil), however this year was the first time that students who completed all their training within school had the opportunity to compete. The three weekends saw over 100 races (heats and finals) and a plethora of personal best times, with several students achieving Regional Qualifying Times. Well done!
