For the second year in a row, a Taunton School team has broken through to Finals Day of the prestigious Oxford Schools’ Debating Competition!

In a highly competitive field of 78 teams – including three other Taunton teams – Year 12 Daisy and Amarra earned a spot in the top seven in the south of England. All eight Taunton School students (Daisy, Amarra, Alice, Olivia, Katrina, Caleb, Arthur, and Anzor) spoke magnificently, producing some of the finest arguments we have heard in this competition.

A huge congratulations to Daisy and Amarra who will now represent Taunton School alongside teams from Eton and Harrow and as far afield as Canada, Australia and Singapore – wishing you both the very best of luck!
