Chapel Choir Performs Evensong at Taunton Minster

The Chapel Choir visited the spectacular Taunton Minster on Sunday 4^th February for an evensong service. An appreciative congregation heard Stanford’s evening service in C, as well as psalms, responses, hymns, and an anthem by Mendelssohn. The choir sang beautifully, Eliza H (Year 12) acted as cantor for the service, and the music was accompanied expertly by Mr Baker at the organ. 

In the Easter holidays, the choir will sing a recital at Bath Abbey (13.00, 13^th April), evensong at Merton College, Oxford (18.15, 14^th April) and a lunchtime concert at The Queen’s College, Oxford (13.15, 15^th April).
