We are pleased to introduce Emma Bollom as our brand-new Director of Digital Strategy (Education)!

Emma, a Teacher of Biology at TSI, is excited to lead the way ensuring our students and staff are continuously educated about the use of educational technology and AI in today’s ever-changing world, helping them to safely and effectively use these tools. 

Of her new role, Emma said: “I’m thrilled to be stepping into the role of Director of Digital Strategy (Education). This is an incredible opportunity to shape how technology and artificial intelligence empower learning across Taunton School. My focus will be on equipping students with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in a rapidly evolving world – while fostering the ability to think critically about AI, its uses, and its wider implications. Together, we’ll prepare future-ready learners who can navigate innovation with confidence and responsibility.”

Emma has been getting stuck in already, speaking to Sixth Form students in the Head’s Assembly earlier this week about how to use AI effectively to enhance and deepen learning and to support study and revision in the lead up to January mock exams.
