The LISK Chatterton History Society took part in a fascinating evening a couple of weeks ago to commemorate 400 years since the accession of King Charles I.

The History Society staged a dramatic mock trial in which members took on the roles of prosecution and defence, while the audience served as the jury. In a near-unanimous verdict, the jury sentenced Charles to execution!

It was great to see so many students get involved, thanks to everyone who came, and well done to our brilliant History Society.
