Futures Department Hosts Business, Law and Apprenticeship Fair
The Futures Department’s Business, Law and Apprenticeships Fair, held on 11th November, brought together an impressive range of organisations offering students insight into future pathways. Representatives from leading local and national employers – including accountancy firms such as Milsted Langdon and Albert Goodman, law firms Porter Dodson and Everys Solicitors and apprenticeship providers such as Pro Apprenticeships – shared valuable guidance about career routes.
Throughout the evening, visitors enjoyed a series of engaging talks in the Theatre, beginning with ‘Ticket to Ride’, who introduced students to exciting gap-year opportunities around the world. This was followed by Marcus Burnett from Burnett Global Education, who gave expert guidance on applying to international universities. Later sessions included Porter Dodson, offering insight into careers in law and the Taunton Chamber of Commerce, who spoke about local business networks and employability.
Alongside these talks, representatives from accountancy firms, law practices, apprenticeship providers and universities contributed to a vibrant, informative event that helped students explore their next steps with confidence.
