The festive season got off to a great start with an Advent Lessons and Carol Service hosted in our Chapel at the end of November, bringing together students, staff, and the local community to celebrate the Christmas season.

Our school choir opened the event with a beautiful candlelit rendition of ‘O Come, O Come Emmanuel.’ After that, five students took turns reading passages, and Mr. John Brown, our School Archivist, delivered a short and inspiring sermon.

It was a peaceful hour of reflection, followed by lively conversations over mince pies and mulled wine.

We have also hosted a number of carol services and celebrations in the chapel this month, including our carol services for day students and a separate event for our boarders. Thank you to Eliza for all her hard work with the many festive gatherings happening across the whole school.
