The MFL department has hosted its annual European Gingerbread House Competition across the senior school this month and the whole team was astounded by the entries submitted!

Students made their creations in their houses (some even going one step further and making whole gingerbread scenes!) and expertly decorated them before displaying in the Densham Suite ready for judging.

Fairwater won Best Individual Entry in what was an extremely close battle! Jenkin Year 12 were chosen as the runner up for Best Individual Entry, while Weirfield gained runner up for Best Overall House and Jenkin came first for Best Overall House.

Well done to everyone involved, we were delighted to see such incredible, creative entries this year.
