A group of students from years 6 to 13 attended the regional school’s pistol shooting competition last Friday. It was amazing to take so many students, some of whom only began shooting this year.

Taunton School had three students qualify for finals, and two narrowly missed out on a top three placing and qualification for nationals. Our junior team came second and could receive a wild card to the finals.

The following students were regional finalists:

Izzy R – Year 7 – 4th in the junior competition

Laura T – Year 10 – 4th in the inters competition

Rufus H – Year 10 – 6th in the inters competition
