Mr Trescothick has returned to Taunton School’s cricket coaching programme after spending time in India as part of England’s World Cup campaign. Unfortunately, the trip was not as successful as they had hoped from a results perspective, but he said, “it was a great experience and despite the results there were many highlights on and off the pitch in a country that is fanatical about cricket.”

Mr Trescothick continued to say; “it is great to be back at Taunton School, I have been really impressed by the progress players have made and I have enjoyed working in the 1-1 and group sessions, particularly on playing spin.”

Marcus has helped out with the hockey programme and has also enjoyed watching many cricketers playing rugby. Everyone at Taunton School wish him and the England team the best for the Test Series in India in the new year.
