The Year 4 pupils got practical during an English lesson, as part of their study on “Privateers and Petticoats”, diving into the captivating historical era of the Tudors. They made Tudor biscuits, also known as ‘hard tack’. It was a practical activity integrated into part of the unit of work for instructional writing, adding a practical element to the study of the Tudor period.
