Taunton Prep U12 As faced off against Holyrood School on the 11th of October. This highly competitive game showcased two distinct playing styles. The visitors were far bigger and stronger and offered a greater threat around the contact areas. Taunton in contrast, showcased their skillset and fitness, offloading out of contact and spreading the ball from touchline to touchline. 

Taunton’s greater fitness, combined with exceptional defence, ensured the result fell in Taunton’s favour. Notable mentions go to James, who executed two textbook try-saving tackles, and Daniel for tackling everything that moved. Tries from Lewis x4, JJ x2 and Felix.  

The U12 A squad put in a sterling performance, beating Holyrood and Daniel J came out with ‘Sportsman of the Week’ as a result. A great performance! The final score was Taunton 35 – Holyrood 10.
