We have been celebrating Harvest Season in the chapel. Our whole community has been bringing in donations for the Taunton Food Bank and learning about the important work that they do. When we have more than enough, we need to extend the table. As St Francis of Assisi said: “Preach the Gospel at all times. Use words if necessary.”

There have been six different Harvest Chapels attended by the various parts of the school. Our choirs have led us in singing “We Plow the Fields and Scatter” & “All Things Bright and Beautiful”. Site services have taken the bulk of the food already – and a group of Year 8 leaders from TPS also will be making a delivery to the Food Bank.

Thank you all for your generosity. We continue to be conscientious about food loss and waste on our own plates. May we only take what we need. May there be daily bread for all.
