Equestrian Competition Update
Our young equestrians have been out in force over the last two weekends, showcasing their incredible talents and representing the school with some remarkable achievements. These dedicated students have displayed their passion for equestrian sports and their commitment to excellence.
During these weekends, our equestrian team has participated in various competitions, from show jumping to dressage, and they have left a lasting mark in each event. We are incredibly proud of our students and look forward to their continued success in the world of equestrian sports.
Blundell’s ODE at Pontispool
Erin W (Year 5) – completed her first 70cm ODE (Dressage / Show Jumping / Cross Country) A great achievement for someone so young
Daisy T (Year 9) – 3rd in the 80cm ODE
NSEA Dressage at Moreton
Iris S (Year 9) – 3rd in the Novice dressage class – earning a place at the National NSEA Dressage Championships
NSEA Dressage at King Sedgemoor Equestrian Centre
Lily A (Year 11) – 5th in the Preliminary class – earning a place at the National NSEA Dressage Championships
NSEA Show Jumping at Bicton Arena
Daisy T (Year 9) – 1st in the 70cm class – earning a place at the National NSEA Championships
Violet L (Year 6) – competed in her first 90cm class for the school and rode two exciting double clears
Iris S (Year 9) – competed in her first Show jumping classes for the school, in the 90cm and 100cm classes on two ponies
Florence L (Year 9) – competed in her first 110cm class, placing 3rd and qualifying for the NSEA National Championships
Hetty H (Year 13) – 6th in the 100cm class and 2nd in the horses section of the 110cm class and qualifying for the NSEA National Championships
