Here are some highlights from Year 8’s Outdoor Education week. The children spent Monday and Tuesday covering a range of activities. In school we had an escape room, first aid, map work and cooking on a gas trangia.

Each Tutor Group also went to Torbay where they explored caves both on land and from the sea on kayaks. Wednesday saw the children planning their Thursday hike from Crowcombe to Hill Farm near West Monkton. The weather was gorgeous and the children really enjoyed the challenge of the Quantock Hills and camping out.
