As part of our topic ‘Relationships’, pupils have had opportunity to discuss online safety, learning how to judge if something is safe and helpful, as well as talking about communicating with friends and family in a positive and safe way.  Age limits and age-appropriateness of games and platforms continue to be talked about in PSHEE lessons and discussions around risk, pressure and influences are being revisited, with a focus on the physical and emotional aspects of identifying when something online or in social media feels uncomfortable or unsafe.

The Childnet Online Safety sessions for pupils and parents on 11th January provided further opportunity to help develop our knowledge, skills, questioning and awareness of the internet / gaming (online and offline) enabling us all to be more discerning when viewing anything online or on social media.
