We are thrilled to share the exciting news about our Year 7 French classes, who recently received heartfelt letters from their French pen friends at Collège Sacré Coeur, located near St Etienne in France. In an effort to enhance the cultural exchange, we decided to explore the region surrounding Collège Sacré Coeur using Google Maps. To our delight, we discovered that the school is situated in a vibrant agricultural area, providing valuable insights into the daily lives of our French counterparts. Interestingly, the letters we received were adorned with numerous illustrations of tractors, offering a charming glimpse into the agricultural landscape that surrounds our pen pals.

Inspired by this newfound knowledge, our students have already embarked on the exciting journey of crafting thoughtful responses. In our upcoming letters, we plan to vividly describe our preferences for food and beverages, providing a delightful exchange of culinary experiences between our two cultures.
