This weekend Thone House did not allow rain to stop play. Whilst our trip to the beach had to be cancelled, we took full advantage of the facilities on-site enjoying baking, performing arts, table tennis, dodgeball, handball, longball, squash and pool. Like any good ‘beach day’ our day ended with an ice-cream, having invited our very own ice cream van on-site. A huge thank you to Karl at Alfie’s Ices for making the trip to school and providing all manner of delicious ice-cream options. It’s a testament to the fact it really is never too cold for ice-cream.
