The young learners of Year 1 had an absolute blast during their first adventure of the year to the Fyne Court nature reserve, owned by the National Trust.

The children were captivated as they reclined against the tilted tree trunks in the ‘Sky Glade’, watching the cloud formations above and listening to birdsong.

Tapping into their creative sides, they also constructed their very own mini bug hotels, before embarking on a thrilling journey across the rickety bridge.

After a delicious lunchtime refuel, the children truly shone as eco-warriors, meticulously sorting their waste into the appropriate recycling categories – what a fantastic team of ambassadors!
