In September Year 3 spent the morning in the sunshine completing some Stone Age activities to kick start their exploration of ‘Stone Age to Iron Age’. They began by painting with blackberries to replicate Stone Age cave paintings (as we have seen in our Stone Age Boy book).

Following this we used clay to create a roundhouse which also demonstrated excellent teamwork skills. It was a thoroughly enjoyable morning and we very much look forward to exploring the ‘Stone Age to Iron Age’ journey further in our upcoming visit to Carymoor.
