Year 3 ventured to Carymoor Enviromental Centre last Tuesday for an action packed day of learning.

Pupils travelled back in time to the Stone Age, exploring replica tools, clothes and a Iron Age roundhouse before baking their own delicious bread on a fire and using their best teamwork and communication skills to build some excellent shelters.

Following this, the group explored the waste we produce in the modern day and learnt the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling and how habits have changed over the millennia.
