The Parents Association Summer Fair took place in fabulous weather conditions last week, creating the perfect backdrop for this wonderful community event. The sun shone brightly as families and staff gathered to enjoy an afternoon filled with excitement and entertainment.

The pupil-run stalls were truly impressive this year, showcasing the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit on display in TPS. From handcrafted items to games of skill, these stalls added a personal touch to the event while giving pupils valuable experience in planning and management.

Entertainment highlights included the always-popular bouncy castle, which kept younger children thoroughly engaged throughout the day. The Gladiator duel proved to be an exciting attraction for older pupils although we didn’t see many parents having a go at that one!

The Parents Association tombola was a tremendous success, with an impressive array of prizes generously by families. Long queues formed as attendees tried their luck at winning.

Overall, the atmosphere was incredibly positive and fun, with families enjoying quality time together while supporting the School. The strong sense of community was evident in the countless conversations and connections made throughout the day.

A big thank you to our Parents Association committee who worked incredibly hard pulling it all together in the build up to the event. If you are able to get involved and lend a hand at future events, then please do email the PA via: tspa@tauntonschool.co.uk. Equally, we would love to hear your feedback on the fair and how we can further develop it for next year and beyond.

The Summer Fair really exemplified what makes our school community special – collaboration, creativity, and a shared commitment to creating memorable experiences for our pupils and families.
