Year 7 recently followed in the footsteps of Samuel Taylor Coleridge with an engaging and informative tour of Coleridge Cottage in Nether Stowey. We were inspired by the landscape and panoramic views at the start of the 51 mile Coleridge Way, where we stopped to draft some poetry of our own.

We also visited Watchet Boat Museum to look at the flatner boats used on the Bristol Channel in Coleridge’s day, and finished off the trip with an ice-cream on the Esplanade under the watchful eye of the Ancient Mariner statue!
