Previously, the student leaders from TSIMS have visited a local elderly care home, and now the residents have returned the gesture and visited some of our students at The Grange!

The afternoon started off with beautiful performances from Lucia on the piano and Riko on the violin. This was then followed by regaling stories over tea and biscuits and forming connections our students didn’t think were possible. One resident in particular took a shine to one of our students as they both discussed all the countries they had visited and exchanged advice on how to live a fulfilled life.

The residents left feeling bright and content and students were left feeling a sense of joy for the new connections they had made. We hope this will be an ongoing arrangement, and more of our amazing students will get to chat with the fascinating residents of the local care home.
