Last week, TPS pupils in Years 5, 7 and 8 from our scholarship pathway participated in a live National Gallery workshop via Zoom.

Receiving excellent tuition from gallery expert Emily, pupils looked at a variety of paintings to explore mark making, line, shape and form. The hour long workshop encouraged pupils to consider different ways of recording in their sketchbook and how they can use media to create a response to a famous piece of art work.

Pupils looked at examples of art from El Geko and Turner whilst receiving a whistle-stop video tour of the National Gallery which celebrated its 200th birthday the very same day!
