TPS pupils were excited to make it to the National Cross Country Finals again this year in Malvern. The new 2026 course offered both speed and undulations including the classic Malvern hills! Pupils rose to the challenge brilliantly across all age groups. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

U11 Girls kicked off the day in style:
⭐ Lydia P ran superbly to finish 21st out of 207 runners.
⭐ Year 5s Kemi S (55th) and Zara H (91st) impressed over a brand‑new distance.
⭐ Maddie W completed the whole course in just a sock after losing a shoe at the start – incredible determination!

U11 Boys tackled the hills with grit:
⭐ Rupert S stayed with the lead pack and finished a strong 55th as a year‑young runner.
⭐ Excellent teamwork and pacing from Angus S, Nicholas C and Viann M.

U13 Girls, all racing up a year, delivered one of the standout team performances of the day:
⭐ Erin W finished an outstanding 7th in a top‑class field.
⭐ Olivia S (28th) and Cate P (29th) ran superbly together.
⭐ Meredith M (43rd) followed just seconds behind.
The team finished 4th, narrowly missing the medals – an exciting sign for next season!

U13 Boys closed the day with powerful performances:
⭐ Noah C ran a superbly judged race to take 3rd, just pipped on the line.
⭐ George M smashed expectations with 18th.
⭐ Saul S (42nd) and Charlie R (68th) ended their Prep cross country careers strongly.
Their combined efforts secured a brilliant 4th team place.

It was a fantastic day of racing, resilience and teamwork – a huge well done everyone! 👏
