Over the last four weekends, TPS pupil, Elle, has spent three of them at Millfield Pool including two weekends for the Somerset County Championships and one weekend for a Bath and Millfield open swim meet.

Elle did incredibly well and here results were as follows:

Bath and Millfield meet Swim Long Course:

50 Breast – 4th

200 Free – 2nd

100 Back – 2nd

100 Breast – 3rd

50 Free – 2nd

50 Fly – 1st

100 Fly – 1st

50 Back – 3rd

200 Breast – 2nd

100 Free – 1st

Somerset County Championships was a hard effort as Elle is only nine years old and racing against 11-year-olds was a bit of a confidence knock plus this was Elle’s first time racing long course, but taking Elle’s age at the end of this year as a 10-year-old, out of the other 10-year-olds she finished as follows:

50 Breast – 5th

400 Free – 1st (this puts Elle ranked 8th nationally and 1st in the south west region for her age, the only 9 year old from TDSC to qualify for this race!)

100 Back – 4th

100 Free – 3rd

50 Fly – 2nd

200 Free – 3rd

50 Back – 4th

200 IM – 2nd

100 Fly – 3rd

200 Back – 2nd

100 Breast – 3rd

50 Free – 6th

200 Breast – 4th
