TPS pupils including Year 7 boys and Year 5 girls enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of swimming at Millfield Pool last week taking part in the IAPS Swimming Qualifications.

Whilst the rest of our TPS swimmers took part in the Hazelgrove qualifier on the Tuesday, event clashes meant that these two teams took part separately. With some of the top swimmers in the region taking part, the standard of swimming across the event was extremely high and our teams secured some impressive times in both individual and relay events.

We now wait patiently to find out whether we have made it to the National Finals in June. To top off a brilliant afternoon, Olympians James Guy and Matt Richards were training on-site at the same time, providing some serous inspiration for our pupils! A huge thank you to all the staff and volunteers at Millfield School for a thoroughly enjoyable and well run event.
