Pupils Achieve Fantastic Results in the Junior Maths Challenge
In May, some of our Year 7 and 8 pupils sat the Junior Maths Challenge, a national competition for approximately 250,000 abled mathematicians across the country.
To achieve Bronze, you must be in the top 50%, Silver is awarded to the top 25%, and Gold the top 8%. Furthermore, only the top 3% of participants qualify for the Kangaroo.
There were some fantastic results achieved across both year groups, with special mentions going to:
🥇 George M (Year 7) and Bertie S (Year 8) for achieving Gold awards
🥇 Imi C (Year 8) for getting Gold and qualifying for the Kangaroo round
🥇 Sarah G (Year 7) and Roman B (Year 8) for achieving the joint highest score in the School and also getting Gold and qualifying for the Kangaroo round
A huge well done everyone!
