Taunton School choirs combined with Taunton Military Wives’ Choir and singers from TPS to produce a magical evening of show-stopping musical theatre performances on Friday 12 June. The programme featured performances from the Tauntones (boys choir), the Musical Theatre Club, Taunton School Chorus, The Community Choir, Dance Scholars, and TPS soloists, alongside the excellent Taunton Military Wives’ Choir, directed by Sam Baker and accompanied by Ed Hudson (OT), all supported by Performing Arts Technical Manager, Mr Dunn.

Favourite musical chorus numbers were included from the best of West End and Broadway productions, including West Side Story, The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, The Sound of Music, Hamilton, Chicago, and Newsies. A massed combined choir of 65 came together in harmony for memorable performances of ‘A Million Dreams’ from The Greatest Showman and ‘For Good’ from Wicked, to conclude a fabulous evening in a sold-out school theatre.
